This Stratton Star powder compact, dates to the 1940s, & is a rectangular shape with angled corners. It has a real engine-turned lid, with a black strip in the centre. The base has a cross hatched design. The self opening inner lid has Stratton’s compact in hand logo engraved on it. There are various patent numbers, Foreign patents pending & made in England engraved on the mirror frame. There is also Pat no. 530653, engraved on the catch. used powder sifter & used puff. She has an original sticker on the mirror with instructions for opening access powder & puff. Measures : 8cm x 6cm x 1cm Condition She is in Good vintage condition, firm clasp, the inner lid mechanism is in perfect order, good mirror with a clear reflection, the outer case is in excellent condition no dents or marks.
