This pendant is made by taking an actual Sycamore seed wing & coating it with a paste containing particles of fine silver (99.9% pure). This is then fired to burn away the seed pod & the binder in the paste to leave its impression in solid silver. The paste used is eco friendly being made of recycled particles of silver. Being purer than 925 sterling silver it is less likely to tarnish & has a lovely lustre. The pendant measures 4cms/2.5 & comes on a 51cm/20 sterling silver chain. This is a genuinely unique item in that every one of these that I make is from an individual piece of seed. Boxed & securely packaged for Royal Mail delivery it makes a great postal gift for a nature/tree lover. Handmade in my Herefordshire workshop.
