Finish Options: Fitness station finish options include stain, enamel paint, natural with poly or raw unfinished wood. (See picture for finish colors). Stain & enamel finish process described below. Stained Finish: Before finishing, each piece is sanded with 220 grit paper for optimal smoothness & then I apply a pre-stain wood conditioner to prevent streaks/blotches during the staining process. Each piece then receives 2 coats of semigloss finish polyurethane (except for raw wood option). Enamel Painted finish: Before finishing, each piece is sanded with 220 grit paper for optimal smoothness & then I apply a base coat of primer using a commercial grade sprayer followed by two coats of enamel paint. Keyholes are more secure than the more common hangers & are hidden behind the unit to give you a clean finished look that mounts flush to your wall.
