A lovely little tree handmade by myself in Cherry wood here in Co Antrim Northern Ireland in my own little woodturning workshop. The wood for these trees comes from a cherry tree which unfortunately had to be removed as it was becoming a threat to a nearby property. I was fortunate enough to obtain the tree & converted it myself into useable blanks putting it away to dry naturally until it had a suitable moisture content. These trees have been individually handmade by myself & measure 100mm in height by 70mm in diameter at the fullest point at the base. These would make a brilliant Christmas present or could be given as a fifth wedding anniversary gift. The cherry wood has a lovely warm tone which is slightly orange in colour. It’s nice to be able to offer something that is not mass produced or off the shelf! Please note the pound coin is only for scale & not included in this sale.
