Erigeron acris - blue fleabane Blue fleabane is a common native annual or occasional perennial growing to a height of about 20 - 50cm. It is a member of the daisy family with a flower head that consists of a pale yellow floral disc & pale purple rayed florets (petals). From a distance this combination of pale yellow & pale purple appears blue hence it common name. Sowing the seeds Tolerates most soils, prefers partial shade, Sowing time throughout the year, with best results sowing March/April & August to September.
