Featured here is an elegant 1930s Powder Compact. Measuring 3 x 2 1/4, the rectangular compact is in very nice condition. All 54 bright pastel rhinestones are present. The bottom of the compact shows use. (see photos) The inside is in excellent condition with nice, shiny gold metal & a pristine mirror. The powder well is clean as is the puff. Both the powder puff & powder well are marked Volupte’. The features that set Volupte’ apart from the rest are the details Volupte incorporates…the three metal treatments, the detailing of the gold tone metal rope frames, the mixture of shiny & brushed silver tone & the scalloped shape of the compact coordinated with the scalloped mirror frame.
