This is an adorable 1970s era vintage wicker rattan lidded Elephant Basket. This two-piece Elephant basket is woven in a medium dark cane. The top portion showcases the elephant’s trunk, tusks, ears & a cute little tail. Unfortunately, this elephant is missing one of its eyes so I offer it to you as a ‘one-eyed elephant’. You may choose to remove the one eye or perhaps replace with a set of your own. Either way, this adorable elephant would be ideal for your storage & organizational needs in your kitchen, living room, or game room. It’s a really cute animal basket for a child’s room or nursery too. The sticker on the bottom reads: Made in the Peoples Republic of China. This bohemian decor piece is 17 inch long by 12 inch high by 9-1/2 inch wide. Weight 1 pound 2.5 ounce. Other than the missing eye, this elephant is in good vintage condition with very few breaks in the rattan with some slight darkened areas.
