A sweet little studio pottery jug with a wide-bellied shape, composed of ceramic with a pleasing weight to it, & the glaze has an eggshell shine. It is slightly larger than your average milk jug, & would be well-suited to sitting on a breakfast table, holding milk for cereal as well as tea. The jug is in excellent vintage condition, free from any sign of wear, & ready to be used exactly as is. The neck, being wide, alternatively makes this pot perfect used as a small vase, to hold a small bunch of blooms collected from your walks, or herbs snipped in the garden. Whilst this jug is most likely to have been produced between 1960-1980, no date of manufacture is present on this piece. At ‘Cottage Industrial’ Home Supplies, we celebrate the beauty that comes with age, & consider the patina of wear & tear to be part of the charm of our items. As such, it is important that buyers recognise that our items are not sold ‘as new’, but will feature marks of time consistent with their vintage condition. All items will be faithfully described in as much detail as possible, & all issues noted, but please take time to study items carefully. If you have any questions, or would like further details, please feel free to contact us before making your purchase. Refunds will not be issued on the basis of a disagreement about how an item has been clearly & honestly described. Please note that, where items are photographed as part of a setting, only the item described in this listing is included as part of the sale. Vintage Studio Pottery Milk Jug. Glazed. Wide Necked.
