Top has thin upright stripes on a finely textured background, & a small, blank cartouche, upright rectangular shape, offset to the upper left area. Underneath has a star pattern. Hinge & catch. Inside has a mirror, metal ring flap with hinge & catch, & the empty powder well has an off-white surface. Stratton name & number stamped on the edges. No powder, no puff. Size/dimension: External diameter of compact, excluding hinge & catch, about 3 1/4 inches, 8.3cm. Internal diameter of powder well, measured at the top edge, 6.9cm, 2 3/4 inches. Condition: Good but has very fine scuff marks on the exterior which become visible when angled in the light, very slight haziness under the mirror’s surface, & a few small scuffs & nicks on the interior metal edges.
