Vintage Salter Postal Parcel Balance Scales No 25

A lovely set of Salter Postal Parcel Balance Scales No 25. The body is cast iron, the dial is metal that was once cream but now has lots of rust. The numbers & markings are black. The scales weigh up to 22lb by 2oz. Made in England. These are in fair vintage condition for their age & are working though I haven’t tested the accuracy. They do show signs of their vintage journey with knocks, scratches & rust spots as expected with age & use. This adds their charm. Please see pictures. Measurements Overall height 27cm Base diameter 16.5cm Plate 20.5cm by 15cm These still work so could be used, they would also look lovely as part of a vintage or shop display.
