Here is a stunning vintage Royal Navy silver & enamel powder compact, dated 1934. This beautiful powder compact is made from solid hallmarked silver with a guilloche blue enamel top (the fourth photo is the closest the the actual colour), with silver Royal Navy crown to the top. The inside has a very clear mirror comes with the original powder divider & little pink swansdown powder puff as seen in the eighth photo. It is hallmarked to the base for Birmingham with date letter J for 1933, I would say given as a gift for a sweetheart as inscribed inside is 21st June 1934 which can be just seen in the ninth photo along with the maker Gieves Ltd 21 Old Bond St which can be just seen in the last photo. Does also come with black protective cover, it is in very good condition for its age normal minor marks & light signs of wear, some surface scratches to the top of the enamel but nothing major, please see all the photos as they are a true representation of the condition. A brilliant find for a collector.
