It has a simple engine turned design on the front cover with a small circle at the centre. It’s in good vintage condition. There are some signs of age & wear with a few little dents & some wear around the outer front cover, which gives it its genuine vintage look. I’ve tried to capture this for you to see in the pictures. The clasp & hinge work well. The mirror is in great condition & provides an excellent reflection. Inside, the door, hinge & clasp of the powder compartment all work well. There is the tiniest trace of left over powder inside & a sifter which has lost some fabric from its edge, but no puff. There’s no maker’s mark on this compact that I can see, although the engine turned design on the back is reminiscent of Kigu. It’s a lovely old compact which would make a great vintage gift or addition to a collection.
