VINTAGE POCKET BALANCE - Salter 1920s Vintage pocket spring balance by Salter, circa early 20th century. Weighs items up to 25lb. Marked on face ‘5S Pocket Balance, British Made’, scale marked in pounds, with the Salter logo at the bottom. The face is painted white. Could be useful for weighing fish, or as a film, theatre, photo shoot prop etc. Great addition for an industrial style decor. Length inc ring handle & hook: 15.5 cm (6 1/8 in) Condition: The white paint has discoloured & crazed, with rust marks. The steel has tarnished with old rust. The accuracy of the balance has not been tested.
