Vintage petit point powder compact, large gold tone petit point compact mirror, collectable vintage needlepoint compact This is a lovely large vintage petit point compact mirror. It measures just under 9 cm in diameter. It has a lovely raised needlepoint panel decoration in the middle of the lid & an intricate engine turned decoration on the back. The clasp & hinge are both good & strong. The mirror inside is excellent & provides a good reflection. The original sifter is still present. The case shows signs of its age particularly on the back.
