This is a wonderful figurine by the famous William Maddux of an elegant white & pink swan planter in Mint condition… These figurines came out in the 1930’s - 1950’s… Maddox was famous for his wonderful ceramic pottery figures & items in gorgeous glazes… His most famous & sought after are the beautiful birds including cockatoos, parrots, blue birds & swans… The wings are up from back & planter hole is between them… This has a great expression with pink & black bill… Marked on the bottom Calif USA & the original sticker is still on the body… Maddux was the founder of the pottery company that eventually came to bear his name… This swan is gorgeous measuring 11 tall & 7.5 front to back & 5.5 wide… If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask… Vintage Maddox Swan Bird Planter Ceramic California Made With Original Label_Mid Century Pink White
