A fabulous find. A beautiful vintage boxed Breakfast Bet for Two by Liddell. The unopened set comprises 2 Pure Irish Linen Tray Cloths, 2 Pure Irish Linen Napkins, as well as 2 Wooden Egg Cups & a Wood Salt & Pepper Shaker. The Scandinavian style Cockerel or Rooster design on the Irish Linen is brightly coloured in reds & yellows. The beauty of this set is the pure vividness of the colours. Brighten anyone’s start to the day. The pristine Tray Cloth & Napkins are unopened & still protected in the original packaging. The box is covered in a wood look patterned paper. The box dimensions are: 39 x 26 x 5 cm (15 3/8 x 10 x 2 in). The set label says Liddell, Breakfast for Two, 2 Pure Irish Linen Tray Cloths, 2 Pure Irish Linen Napkins, 2 Egg Cups, Salt & Pepper Shakers. The set is in excellent vintage condition with no rips as Unused & still in protective packaging. There are some signs of age on the visible linen items such as faint brown spots. To be expected of Irish linen of this age. The original box is in excellent condition with some wear on the corners & sides. The Breakfast for Two set is sold without being taken out of the box. I wanted to leave it as complete & in original condition as possible. The owner of this set will be the first person to open it. Vintage Irish Linen is versatile as well as gorgeous.
