Vintage Large Blue Drip Glazed Lidded Pot - Welsh Hand Thrown Art Pottery - Sun Swirl Ribbed Design - Indoor Outdoor Planter, Kitchen Decor A beautiful large blue lidded double handled pot with terracotta base detail. Produced in Gwynedd, Wales, this pot has a few lovely details such as the blue drip glaze mottled effect on the ribbed body, the sun swirl & rays detailing on the lid & star-shaped design on the lid underside. This generously sized pot would compliment many uses from kitchen dcor to use as a planter or flower vase. The inner rim of the pot is unglazed however the remainder of the pot is glazed internally & could hold fluid. The pot is in great condition overall. There is a 1.5cm sized chip on the inner rim where the glaze stops & the terracotta begins. It also has a dark area of staining to part of the underside. The outer base is stamped with the Welsh production location ‘Gwynedd’.
