Vintage jewelled oval compact mirror, Art Deco powder compact, one of a kind collectable compact This is a stunning vintage jewelled oval powder compact. The lid is decorated with vibrant blue resin stones surrounded by further little multi-coloured stones. The rim of the lid is finished in a black enamel & there’s a signature in red on the edge that looks like it is Japanese. The lid opens to reveal a beautiful bevelled mirror which has very faint cloudiness but still provides an excellent reflection. The original sifter is still present & there is a number 36 stamped into the corner of the powder well. The base of the compact is gold tone with a pin striped design.
