a gorgeous duo of vintage cup & saucer in a terrific forest green salt glaze. these items look to be Portuguese in style but are unmarked. the cup is wide & low standing with a stylized geometric banana leaf or acanthus motif. the pattern is echoed on the saucer in a wide ring around each upper surface. the pattern is incised or pressed into the base white clay prior to firing & then the treacly green salt glaze is added. the cup stands at 60mm tall & 90mm in diameter. the saucer is deep at 25mm high & are 145mm in diameter. these items are in terrific condition. they are priced for a single cup & saucer & there are a number available. please message me for a combined postage price.
