Vintage Stratton compact Faux tortoiseshell c1950’s early 60’s. This is a lovely collectible Stratton compact with a faux tortoiseshell finish to the lid. It does still contain the powder & the puff & these can be changed of course. This one dates between the mid 50’s to the early 60’s denoted by the star pattern base & the absence of the Stratton name on the base. It is signed though but inside the the lid - please see photographs. Condition is good but used & there are some surface marks to the casing both on the lid & the bottom with some minor scratches.
