The cover has a pink petit point floral decoration on a white background, which really stands out & makes a statement. There is a clear plastic cover over it to protect it. It looks really good set against the gold tone metal of the case. The compact is in generally good vintage condition. There are signs of wear to the case & it looks like something has been stuck to the back but this should clean off. The hinge is a little wobbly but still works fine & the catch snaps it should nicely. The mirror has a little bit of age related wear but still gives a good reflection. The sifter is slightly discoloured & appears to be stuck inside the base of the compact, although it could be carefully removed if required. Overall this is a rather unique compact mirror & would make a great vintage gift or addition to a collection.
