Vintage compact mirror & lipstick holder set, Art Deco powder compact with matching lipstick holder This is a beautiful little powder compact & lipstick holder set. The powder compact measures just under 4 cm in diameter & the lipstick holder is 5.5 cm long. Both have a gilt metal finish with embossed floral decorations & both have a red flower lucite decoration. You’ll notice that the mirror is no longer present in the lipstick holder & has been replaced by a piece of black velvet, which suits the holder. The lipstick tube is currently empty. The little compact has a good mirror & a little powder puff. The puff is perhaps a fraction oversized so most likely not the original, but certainly of the era. Some of the colour from the flower has bled onto the foil backing of the powder compact giving it a reddish tint. Overall it’s a lovely little collectable Art Deco set.
