Vintage compact mirror, Art Deco powder compact, black & gold powder compact, gifts for compact collectors This is a lovely Art Deco powder compact with a black lucite cover. The decoration on the front is quite worn as you can see in the photos. The clasp just about hold the lid shut, it could probably be made a bit more secure if required. The hinge works well & opens to reveal a lidded inner compartment & a mirror. The mirror has a few little black age specks & a small chip in the bottom right corner, but still provides good reflection. The inner compartment catch is secure & opens easily. The original sifter is still present along with a trace of powder. The compact measures approximately 8.5 x 8 x 1 cm. A lovely collectable compact!
