This collection of old wagon wheel hubs are a real conversation starter. Put plants in them, place them along a shelf/tables or out on the patio with candles in! There are numerous ways to display them (plants not included). The old wooden hubs have metal cast iron bands, they are solid hard wood & heavy. The weathered raw wood has a great patina. Four of the five hubs have metal cast iron bands on the ends. They date from about 1870 to 1920. These rustic hubs have slots where the spokes of a wheel once were. These gaps make them great for displaying light. There is evidence of historic woodworm but no live worm is present, we have however treated them in case. One of the hubs has a pieces missing that is viewable in the last photograph. The hubs vary in size, measuring: 28cm tall, 22cm in diameter 26cm tall, 19cm in diameter (damage on back - see photo) 24cm tall, 22cm in diameter 23cm tall, 18cm in diameter 23cm tall, 18cm in diameter These could be converted to lamps with bulbs on top or indeed in the middle.
