This is a very beautiful & rare powder compact, measuring just 1 1/2 in diameter. Brass case with back enamel & elephant head in relief to lid. Marked Eastern Foam Powder Compact to reverse. Paper label to side indicating shade of powder, the label writing has faded. Era: 1920’s Considering age, the powder compact is in very good condition. There are some losses of enamel in places, mainly to the base. Nice clean interior with clear reflective mirror. Puff is in used condition. Some powder remains.
