Tomato Spencer is a wonderful savoury tomato that packs a fantastic punch of flavour. This lycopersicon esculentum originates from South America but now it is grown all around the world. This is thanks to their ease of growing, taste, huge variety of uses such as sauces especially good for pizza sauces, ketchups, salads, side dishes & meats. They are also resistant to splitting & a few varieties of disease such as TMV. The seeds are ridiculously small & are hard to notice when eating, the skin of the Spencer tomato is dense & hard, but the inside of the tomato is fleshy & soft. This Medium to late variety ideal for green houses has fruit that grow in bunches of 5-6 & get a dark red colour when ripe. Each fruit can weight between 30 & 50 grams.
