Sturdy cast-iron forged teapot with a traditional Asian style pattern. Perfect way to serve up herbal infusions. Ideal for brewing loose-leaf tea blends at ease, & can go really well in traditional style tea sets. Put it on top of the fireplace & refill it with water 5-8 times before changing the tea leaves. This teapot is quite heavy, so care needs to be taken while handling it while hot. The interior is coated with smooth enamel to prevent rust, & the steel handle is very strong. Can be placed on a hot surface (such as a fireplace, or electric/gas stove) so that heat is absorbed & the natural goodness & flavors of the tea are brewed. Comes with a stainless steel tea infuser that sits in the lid so that both tea leaves or tea bags can be steeped inside. Approximate weight is 1.4kg & capacity is about 800ml, although these figures can vary slightly. Material: Cast iron Weight: 1.4kg Capacity: 800ml (approx. 28 fl oz.)
