A wonderful thick brass jardiniere pot with lots of character. It has three small feet & a narrow opening, making it slightly different from other similar pieces I’ve seen. It has a lightly hammered textured on the main body. Please note the coating inside & the fact it’s not watertight as mentioned below in the condition report. Great as a decorative piece on its own or as a vase for dry flowers. APPROx MEASUREMENTS Height - 15cm Rim Diameter - 9.3cm Widest Diameter - 17cm CONDITION General age, wear & tarnishing to metal. Scratches, dints, marks & patina. Not watertight, small hole at base. There is also a film inside, I’ve cleaned it many times with boiling water but it remains. Could be from being used as a spittoon, but the shape of the overall piece doesn’t seem quite right for that. This is a vintage item & will have signs of use & wear. Looking for something else?
