A minimalist indigo cotton blouse for summer, with an original flattering asymmetrical shape (cropped front, longer back), dyed with natural indigo & Shibori resist forming blue square lines on white. Measurements, when top is flat: - Front height (shoulder / down): 38 cm - 15 - Back height (shoulder / down): 62 cm - 24 1/2 - Width (left / right side): 68 cm - 26 1/2 - Arm opening: 17 cm - 6 1/2 It suits many sizes: S / M / L. Please check with one of your top laid flat. This tunic is sewn & dyed by me in my little studio in South of France. This cotton is light, a bit sheer, soft - it comes from old stocks of a local factory which closed in the 80s: This is a vintage textured batiste cotton, much like fine linen: we see irregularities when the threads are doubled or knotted. it goes perfectly well with the craftsmanship & uniqueness of this blouse. The shape is flattering, if you want you can layer it on a dress or wear it with leggings, jeans or high waist shorts. It is the perfect top for summer! As always, I make the dyeing vat myself with botanical dyes & earth-friendly & slow methods. The indigo comes from a cooperative in Southern India. This top has been washed several times during the process - at the end, machine washed to test color fastness which is very good. I recommend a mild detergent, low temperature & dry in the shade. This top will be sent by priority mail with tracking, carefully packed in natural materials & accompanied by a card explaining its artisan & natural dyeing making.
