The 1950s compact has a full powder well, which appears to be untouched. The gold tone back has an attractive stars in a concentric circle machine patterned metal surface & says Stratton, Made in England. The Stratton compact is in excellent vintage condition. The mirror glass is in excellent condition & gives a wonderful crystal clear reflection. The compact overall shows few signs of wear due to its age. The clasp, hinges & springs are working perfectly.
