There are many, many crystal designs out there but I felt compelled to come up with my own stained glass crystal design. So I did! I made one as a prototype, & couldn’t decide how, or if, it needed to hang. A day or so later, while browsing Instagram, I noticed a trend in plant & garden stakes & realized that this is what I needed to do with my crystals! So I purchased some steel welding rods, cut out more crystals, attached the rods and… voila! These crystals are bigger then a plant stake probably should be because I originally designed them as sun catchers BUT they work really well in larger potted plants (see listing pictures). The crystal alone measure approximately 8 long by 3.5 at its widest point. The stake alone measures approximately 7.5 long & 3/32 thick. Please understand that the stake will most likely tarnish because of the elements (ie soil, water, etc) The total length (crystal plus stake) is approximately 15.5 long. There are currently 7 colors available: Cotton Candy (blue, purple, pink opaque glass) Navy (navy with white whispys) White Iridescent (white opaque with a subtle iridescence) Pink (clear with pink whispys) Green Iridescent (emerald green glass with a prominent iridescence) Light Green (seedy light green transparent glass) Purple Iridescent (purple transparent glass with a prominent iridescence) These are made using the copper foil method & they are polished to a shiny silver. These pieces do contain lead. I use lead based solder in the majority of my work. Please handle carefully. Stained Glass Crystal Garden Plant Stake
