RS033 Sunflower Pattern: 1 1/8 1 1/8 (30 30 mm) CA03 Small bee Pattern: 6/8 6/8 (1919 mm) These are 25mm thick acrylic stamps, & the depth of the stamp pattern is 3 mm. Soap Stamping tips: 1.) Make sure your stamp is clean, use a toothbrush to scrub out any soap bits. 2.) Place the stamp on the soap then lightly tap stamp with a Rubber Hammer 3 to 5 times. A Rubber Hammer works great for stamping, it gives you a nice & clean impression & you can always put the stamp right back to the mark impressed on the surface to adjust the deep or uneven; make it prettier if you are not happy with the result. You don’t need to stamp too deep, about 1/8 inch is plenty. Practice a couple of times to get comfortable with the process. 3.) After use, clean the stamps using a brush & water. Dry thoroughly before storing. PS: Depending upon the formulation of your soap, the soap may be ready for stamping after it’s cut 3-8 hours (ex: 80% coconut oil). Softer soaps may require a few days of aging. The soap should not stick to the stamp; if it does, the soap needs to harden a bit. in contrast, the soap should not break after stamping, if it does, the soap is already too hard, cut the surface off (3mm) & stamp again.
