On offer is this charming set of four miniature salts. They’re in good condition overall, the remaining silver plate shines up well still - extensive verdigris / salt oxidation residue however over them all (please refer to images) which has notably darkened & worn through to the base nickel silver (brassy tone); light scuffs & scratches too commensurate with age as well as a small chip to the top edge (corner) of one of the glass liners but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the set. They’re of traditional form, beautifully decorated with an attractive border edge, wire work support for the liners & supported by four charming ball feet. All retain their original clear glass liner - the decoration over them catches the light & displays ever so well still. Sheffield produced by Martin Hall & Co, circa early 20th century. They measure a charming 80mm by 44mm by 30mm in height including the feet - all outer measurements - & the liners themselves measure 47mm by 27mm by 19mm. A delightful set of additions which despite the condition issues raised are ready to be collected & enjoyed once again! The postage quote is for a Royal Mail tracked & insured service.
