Seastar Sedum is a native of the United States, & it features a mounding habit, succulent, evergreen mat-forming foliage & star-shaped blooms of pale pink. Seastar is perfect for an alpine or rock garden or general ground cover. It thrives in full sun but tolerates partial shade. This variety tolerates moist conditions better than other varieties of Sedum. Sedum has tiny seeds which should be mixed with fine sand or talcum for an even sowing. Sow Sedum ground cover seed indoors 6 - 8 weeks before the last frost is expected. Use small pots or flats & sterile starter mix. Pre-moisten the starter mix & sow Sedum ground cover seeds on the surface. Press the seed into the moistened soil, & do not cover the seed.
