Raal come from large sub-deciduous tree(Sal Tree) reddish to pale yellowish green in colour.An aromatic, oleo-resinous gum excudes from the stem on tapping by a special method, called ‘Sal dammar’ or ‘Bengal Dammar’ of commercial variety & is locally known as ‘Ral’ Sanaazesty Sal Tree , Shorea Robusta, Raal, Ral, Safed Damma
