Salvaged from an old bakery this loaf tin dates to circa 1950s & was made by the famous English brand Hovis. This loaf tin would have been used in the bakery to bake Hovis loaves. This is a more rustic tin & although it probably could be used, we are selling for decorative purposes only, it would make a great planter for herbs on a kitchen windowsill! Stamped HOVIS so that it would imprint on the bread with a H at the ends of the tin. Stamped to the base it says ’to be used for hovis bread only’ The loaf tin is a rustic salvaged item, & it was a working tin, so it shows sign of wear, rusting & tarnishing. No holes or weaknesses to the metal. We would still bake in it if lined but selling as recommended for decorative purpose. Listing is for ONE tin three tins are available Measures approximately: 7’’ long x 4.5’’ wide x 3.5’’ high International shipping available, please contact us if your country is not listed.
