The English firm of Sadler are renowned for the production of teapots. This one is a lovely example from the 1940s & is transfer decorated with the Chinese ‘Willow’ pattern. The decoration is a deep cobalt blue with gilding on the base, lid & spout. All the gilding is perfect & so is the teapot itself. It holds 1.75 pints & is a great pourer.
