Our wood planters are unique & differ from all others. Using an ancient Japanese technique called Shou Sugi Ban we burn the inside of the box sealing & preserving the wood, making them rot resistant & insect resistant. All planters are drilled for proper drainage & are hand-built. We use reclaimed lumber that is locally salvaged & weathered to imperfect perfection. Please note all options are burnt on the inside & left untreated. The charcoal center is great for live plants. If you are using for artificial plants or home dcor a light burned center would work better for you.
