On offer is this lovely antique salt spoon. It’s in good condition overall, the silver shines up well still all over - there are a few light specs to the bowl interior as well as light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age but as shown in the photos all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It’s of traditional form which has been beautifully decorated with a spiral twisted handle stem & historical knight figure terminal. Fully hallmarked on the back of the bowl for Sheffield, 1878 & the maker Martin, Hall & Co. It measures a charming 77mm in length & weighs 8.4g.
