11x14 salt prints of the late Michael Jackson’s vampire kit, part of the Ed Crimi vampire collection. These 13 handmade prints are the only ones of their kind in existence. Every part of the processes used are analog in their nature. Everything is handmade - no digital tomfoolery was ever used in their creation. The salt prints were made from a handmade wet plate collodion negative using one of the oldest photographic processes. The negative was created using an 8x10 large format camera, a 170 year old process & Victorian glass. The glass had salted collodion poured onto its surface, sensitized in a silver bath, exposed using natural sunlight & developed by hand. This negative was used to contact print onto specially prepared archival paper. The salt solution used for these prints is very unique & was created by using very rare medieval salt that was used for protection from vampires. The salt was crushed & a solution was made exclusively for these prints. Pure Protection - Limited Edition Salt Prints Of The Late Michael Jackson’s Vampire Kit Made With Medieval Salt
