‘Plague Doctor Mask’ is an oil painting on canvas board, depicting a medieval ‘plague’ doctor mask: a mask with medicinal herbs inside that medieval doctors wore to keep themselves safe when treating dangerous diseases. This is an altered depiction of a plague doctor mask, as I like the more classical style of mask. This painting was made with slow drying oil paint layers atop an acrylic underlayer on canvas board.
