Pearly Powder Blue Stilettos by Dolcis c1959 Superbly elegant pumps by Dolcis Studio, from the late 50s early 60s. The previous owner thought 1959. Pointed toe, high 3.75 inch stiletto heel with a gathered leather ‘flower’ in the same colour Leather sole & lining, metal heel tip. Very good condition, just one small mark on the in side of the left heel. Modern size UK 5, EU 38, USA 7.5 Internal length 10.5 inches width 2.9 inches - narrow. Vintage shoe sizes can vary a lot, both from modern & contemporary sizes, depending where & when they were made & design details such as the shape of the toe & height of the heel. There are also differences in modern comparison charts depending on which country you live in. I will always quote my estimate of a modern equivalent & list the length & width in inches so you can compare them to a pair that fits you. They are all wearable unless otherwise stated. I check that the soles & uppers are well glued, that any synthetic soles are flexible & there is a decent amount of heel tip left. If they have been re-heeled & soled I will tell you. Any faults will be noted. I usually polish/clean them where needed. I try to date them honestly.
