Lovely Peach Mix Strawflowers are a great addition to garden beds & dried flower crafts. Helichrysum braceatum are summer annuals that grow up to 3 feet tall. in mid summer the well branched plants are covered in 2 papery flower heads. This strawflower mix contains flowers in a rich peach to apricot tone. For drying purposes cut the flower heads while they are still tight buds. Hang them upside down in a cool place to dry for several weeks. The stems can sometimes be weakened during the drying process & the addition of a floral wire before hanging will give the stem added support. Each seed packet contains a minimum of 35 seeds. The seeds are small & tricky to count so I always add extras. Each order comes with complete growing instructions. Strawflowers will grow & bloom best in at least 6 hours of full sunlight.
