Double gauze is 2 very fine layers of 100% cotton that are invisibly stitched together. The weave of each layer tends to be quite loose, this lends itself to be almost a bit snuggly & slightly springy. These paisley tear-dropped shaped motifs are the latest addition to our double gauze collection. Paisley first become popular in the West during the 18th & 19th centuries.
