a vintage mid century era oval ceramic planter or bowl with ribbed sides. It has a beautiful colouration that seems to change with the lighting. It looks dark metallic brown on the outside with a grey drip glaze around the rim & inside. The grey glaze has an Italianate marbled paper look with taupe & sage green colours flowing to the bottom. Bottom is marked Japan. in clean condition with lots of crazing & few production glaze spots around the sides. The bottom has a bit of a wobble. Please zoom images. Priced accordingly.
