Fresh Wild Harvest Fresh Picked Organic Pine Needles for Tea & Extract Making Wild picked Pine/Spruce Needles/Sprigs No added fillers or preservatives To make fresh pine needle tea, you can use just a few needles for a weaker tasting tea, & a whole sprig for a stronger one. Bring water to a boil. Add pine needles (or whole sprigs) to water & reduce to the lowest heat. (approx 2 - 5 grams per cup depending on potency required) Very low simmer for 20 minutes & remove from heat. You can either leave to cool & drink or cover & let sit overnight to continue steeping. Strain out pine needles, if required, sweeten to taste, then serve tea hot or cold. Note: It’s important to have a very low simmer & not to boil the pine needles in order to preserve the vitamin C.
