Hatay peshtemals are distinguished by their high density thread count, using only natural cotton and/or linen, which brings the highest of quality in absorbance, texture, & feel. Comes inside a natural cotton pouch with a glass ‘‘Nazar Boncugu (Evil Eye Bead) attached, which is believed to bring good luck! Peshtemals are very lightweight & velvety soft. Inspired by the bath towels used in ancient Turkish spas, these tightly woven towels are extremely strong & durable & feature a stylish handcrafted fringe. Since they are flat woven, they take up much less space than traditional terry towels. They are also wonderfully versatile, they make fabulous bath towels, but you can just as easily wear them as a poolside or beachside wrap like a sarong.
