A premium quality, heavy weight, traditional oilskin fabric in a dark ochre yellow. The organic cotton fabric has been impregnanted with a blend of oils & petroleum wax to make it water resistant. Traditional oilskin makes great water resistant outerwear, bags & hats that stand the test of time & become more beautiful as they age. This finish is quick to look distressed - see the final photo for what it looked like after I had scrunched it for the other photos a few times. As it is sent folded it will arrive with fold lines. Please only order this fabric if you want that distressed look! We also sell a barrier lining that will stop the transferance of oil to your clothes/lining. This is priced per QUARTER metre.
