We love a ticking stripe & now we have finally managed to get an organic version in stock! This is a good quality organic, undyed cotton twill with a blue printed ticking stripe (this means that the stripes are only visible on one side of the fabric - see the final photo for the back.) The stripes run the length of the fabric - so if you’re making garments they would usually have the stripes going vertically. You can use it to make garments such as jackets & trousers (or jeans - this is essentially a denim weave) or for home wares & craft projects. As this is a handwoven fabric do expect some irregularities, & it needs to be pre-washed as there may be some shrinkage & dye loss. Priced per QUARTER metre.
