NEW Vintage 1960s Stratton Powder Compact Abstract Floral Design Gold Star Brass Gold Tone Collectable Collectible Mother’s Day Gift We love a vintage Compact, especially those Made in England by the Stratton company. They are always so well made with such striking designs. The top of this Powder Compact is a gorgeous brushed gold tone with a gorgeous abstract design of curved shapes which coud be flowers (or fish!). This Compact opens using a push-in catch at the front with a mirror on the top. There is a Pat. number at the base of the mirror. The Compact has another cut-out lid which opens up by pressing another catch on the right-hand side & here is space to add your powder. Inside is the original netting & unused pink Stratton Powder Puff. The base has a repeating star design with the Stratton logo & Made in England in the centre. The Compact has a diameter of just over 3 (8cm). The Compact is in excellent new condition. It comes with a black pouch & square cardboard box. We think it would make a perfect gift!
